This college course is specially designed for our students to help them develop a business. There are eight units taught at one unit a week for eight consecutive weeks (not taught during public holidays). The student can choose as many or as few units as they need. Student will learn how to start their own business, business plans, promoting their business, successful tips, the help and support that is invaluable in starting a business. There are further studies in finances, customer service and administrative duties.
The BPEC Water Regulations course covers the background and legislation regarding the safe use and maintainance of water apperatus. After successful completion of the course you will be able to work as an approved contractor and self-certify your plumbing work and installations.
The Energy Efficiency training course is focused on heating & hot water controls, insulation and energy saving for the home. After attending this course a plumber will be able to advise customers on the efficiency of their heating system, ensure it meets current standards and advise them if they need to upgrade and how.

This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom. This is a 9 credit introduction into the world of business, less strenuous than the certificate programme. Students will begin with the how and why of business operations and progress to finances, and handling and replenishing stock. Then they will round out their education with internet use and software.
This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom. This is a 16 credit introduction into the world of business, more advanced than the award programme.
This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom. This is a 10 credit course for introductory business practices, less demanding than either the certificate or extended certificate programmes. The specialist programmes are designed for those students which will be integral to the running of a business.
This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom. This is a 15 credit course for introductory business practices, less demanding than the extended certificate programmes. The specialist programmes are designed for those students which will be integral to the running of a business.
This QCF approved course is delivered in a classroom and in the work environment. This is a 9 credit course designed to give students the underpinning knowledge to work in an administrative environment, as well as assessing their competency in the work place.
